Glenn Baker’s Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. has proudly served Baton Rouge and the surrounding communities since 1954. The company was founded in January of that year by Glenn H. Baker and Al Ross. After several changes in ownership, Mr. Baker repurchased the company in 1970 and continued operating it until his passing, when his son, Mike Baker, took over the family business.

In the spring of 1971, shortly after graduating from Istrouma High School, Ronnie Watts began working for Mr. Baker as a service technician. Through 18 years of dedication, hard work, and hands-on experience, Ronnie developed a deep understanding of the heating and air conditioning industry. In June 1989, he was given the opportunity to purchase Glenn Baker’s Heating & Air Conditioning from Mike Baker.

Under Ronnie’s leadership, the company continued to grow while earning a reputation for honesty, dependable service, and quality workmanship. Ronnie believed in treating customers like family, and the values he established remain at the heart of the company today. Although Ronnie has passed away, his legacy continues through the family he loved and the business he devoted so much of his life to building.

Today, Glenn Baker’s Heating & Air Conditioning is proudly owned and operated by Ronnie’s wife, Debbie Watts, and their son, Derrick Watts. Derrick grew up around the business and began his career working in the field, performing installations and learning the trade from the ground up. His years of experience and dedication prepared him to help lead the company into its next generation.

Derrick’s wife, Brittany Watts, has been an important part of Glenn Baker’s Heating & Air Conditioning since 2009. She manages the daily office operations and works alongside Debbie and Derrick to ensure customers receive the personal attention and dependable service they deserve.

As a second generation family owned and operated company, Glenn Baker’s Heating & Air Conditioning is proud to continue the traditions established by Ronnie Watts. The Watts family remains committed to providing professional heating and air conditioning services for residential and commercial customers while treating every customer like family with honesty, respect, and care.

For more than 70 years, Glenn Baker’s Heating & Air Conditioning has been built on family, hard work, and service to the community. As the company looks toward the future, Debbie, Derrick, and Brittany are honored to carry Ronnie’s legacy forward continuing to provide Comfort That Hits Home.
